Meet the artist

Hi! My name is Melissa. 

 

Thank you so much for coming to my page.  My life has been inspired by the sea since I was a little girl. We traveled to Florida to visit family every year and this is where I came to first love the ocean. After graduating college I wanted to live coastal. I moved to the Low Country Coast of South Carolina in 1998. We also have a home on the Big Island of Hawaii. I am a wife, mom of 3 and a avid Ironman triathlete. I have traveled the world triathlon racing and swimming in some amazing sea waters. This is where my love for ALOHA came in.  I have spent thousands of hours by the sea, weather it be open water swimming, daily walks, yoga, running, whale watching, kayaking, fishing, collecting sea treasures, relaxing, paddle boarding, sun-basking etc....

I find so much zen at the ocean. The ocean gives off so much power that my mind drifts away.  I admire the beauty of each sunrise, sunset, waves crashing,  and all the sea life the salty sea has to offer.

I have always had a creative side to me. I loved art growing up. I love home decorating and painting. I started Salty Seacoast Art offering Coastal Hone Decor including Ocean Resin products and Mixed Media Ocean Wall Art Murals as a fun way to have a creative outlet where I can express my inspiration & love of the sea with all my creations. It's a great mind and stress soother and I look forward everyday to get in my art room and create something special for others to feel their love for the salty sea.
